Score 85/100 · Drink 2016-2019, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2016

The 2010 de Cazenove has a ripe mulberry, briary and slightly peaty bouquet, fully mature but with decent definition if not quite delivering the complexity you feel it might have had. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, well judged acidity and the depth of fruit you expect from a 2010 -- blackberry, tobacco, a pinch of white pepper and a little Graves-like smokiness towards the finish that needed to show more tension and structure. It is a satisfactory Bordeaux Supérieur to be consumed now and over the next couple of years. Tasted August 2016.
