Score 93/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Mar 2023

The 2018 Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg offers an initially discreet yet substantial and concentrated, even powerful but slowly opening nose of ripe and fleshy fruits intertwined with flinty/stony as well as phenolic (tannin) notes. Round and fresh on the palate, this is a vivacious and firmly structured, quite tannic grand cru Schlossberg Riesling that lacks a bit of finesse but not power and structure. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in January 2023.
