Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2020-2034, Neal Martin, Jan 2019

The 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from the Le Charlemagne lieu-dit , which offered three barrels this year (two new). The well-defined bouquet features honeysuckle and jasmine scents. The palate is very generous but well balanced, revealing veins of ginger and nutmeg. Quite rich in style, but very focused, with plenty of freshness on the finish. Excellent.
