Tasting notes
The 2023 Art Series Riesling marks another lovely release of this wine. The 2023 season in Margaret River was even and mild—superb, in short—and the whites that I have seen released so far express the conditions so eloquently. Here, the wine is aromatically laden with sea salt, chalk, brine, soft leafy herbs, scratched lime, green apple and jasmine flowers. It is plump without being pudgy, soft while retaining form and line, and perhaps most importantly, it is delicious. A lovely wine. 12% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

This immediately expressive and aromatic 2023 Riesling opens with a rich blend of melon, pear and blossom aromas with nice little touches of pith and spice. Juicy and vibrant in style with pithy tones taking the lead while zesty acidity and pear drop flavors add impact to the finish. Drinking well young but will hold.
