As always, the 2023 Côtes du Rhône leads with its Syrah component and has juicy blackberry fruit as well as ample peppery, violet-like nuances. It's nicely balanced, medium-bodied, and concentrated, with lots to love.

Full bottle 1,353 g. Inky deep purple. Concentrated black plum and violet – floral, deep and brooding. The fruit is a bit baked on the palate but not unpleasantly so and the acidity freshens it up nicely. Mouth-coating tannin. Excellent balance. (SCJ)
