Tasting notes
Score 91-93/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound

A wonderfully spicy and well-layered nose features notes of ripe plum, cassis, warm earth and hints of stone. There is excellent punch to the notably ripe, lush and intense medium weight plus flavors that brim with plenty of palate coating dry extract before terminating in an energetic, firm and markedly lingering finish. This is relatively refined in the context of the typical Gevrey 1er and well worth considering.<br />
