Bright yellow. Stony and sweaty notes on the nose, along with a whiff of menthol; a bit blocked by SO 2 Concentrated but taut and quite dry, even youthfully aggressive, conveying an impression of elevated acidity. There's an almost Muscadet-like quality to this wine. An odd showing today.

Rather heavy nose. Big and solid and muscular. A rugby player of a white burgundy. Needs time to develop excitement. (JR)
