2010 Barolo Rocche

The 2010 Barolo Rocche comes across as a bit fleeting in this vintage, something I never thought I would write about a Rocche dei Manzoni Barolo. On the plus side, the 2010 will drink well pretty much upon release. Dried flowers, tobacco, dried cherries, mint and spices linger on the close. My sense is that the 2010 lacks a bit of depth and freshness, so it is best enjoyed sooner rather than later. The Barolo Rocche is made from a combination of fruit from the estate's vineyards in Monforte.
