Tasting Notes
Ripe currants, mulberries, spicy oak, and savory flower notes are just some of the nuances in the 2023 Château Siran, a medium to full-bodied, pure, balanced Margaux that has some background smoky oak, ripe yet certainly present tannins, and outstanding length. Its purity of fruit is top-notch.

Soft, lush, lifted, and vibrant, the red, and black fruits are sweet, ripe, juicy, and long. There is concentration, and energy here, with a silky edge to the ripe, poloshed berries in the finish.
The 2023 Siran is deep garnet-purple in color. It jumps from the glass with classic notes of cassis, redcurrant jelly, and cedar, followed by suggestions of dried herbs, tobacco, and stewed tea. The medium-bodied palate is bright and refreshing, with lightly chewy tannins and an herbal lift on the finish.
Wow. This is really well done with plenty of al-dente fruit character, bright acidity and firm, fine tannins that are already well integrated. Medium-bodied. Crunchy.
About the producer

In the south of Margaux, this property has 36 hectares of vines. There’s an unusually large proportion of Petit Verdot (13%) in the vineyard, something which the team feels adds finesse, concentration and a spicy finish to the wine.
