Tasting notes
Caramelized peach, honeyed orange, croissant, spice, and candied mint are just some of the nuances in the 2023 Château Sigalas Rabaud, a beautifully balanced, layered, elegant Sauternes in the vintage that has nicely balanced sweetness and a clean, lengthy finish.

Juicy, ripe, and overripe pineapples, apricots, candied white peaches, caramel, flowers, and honey are all over the place. The finish is all about the honey-slathered, ripe, and over ripe, sweet tropical fruits with their racy edge. You can enjoy this early as well as age it.
The 2023 Sigalas Rabaud is 100% Semillon and has 140 g/l of residual sugar. It is pale lemon-straw in color and waltzes out with gregarious notions of pineapple upside-down cake, lemon meringue pie, and honeysuckle, giving way to fragrant wafts of jasmine tea, lemongrass, and fresh ginger. The palate is beautifully balanced, with bags of freshness lifting the intense citrus and tropical fruit layers, finishing on a lingering, gingery note.
This has a sweet spiced-pear, apple-tart and light honey character. Sweet, medium-bodied palate and a salty, spicy finish. Fresh and balanced.
