A blend of 79% Sauvignon Blanc and 21% Sauvignon Gris raised six months on lees, the 2023 Château Puygueraud Blanc offers bright and juicy citrus, honeysuckle, and minty floral notes on the nose. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has good balance and a clean finish. These are always impeccably made. Drink this classy, bright, juicy effort over the coming 3-4 years. Drink 2026-2030.

The 2023 Puygueraud Blanc is missing a little intensity on the nose, light waxy scents, just requiring more fruit/terroir expression to come through. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tension and bite. But again, it just misses the bandwidth that I have found in other vintages.

Bright citrus, pear, and honeyed flower notes all emerge from the 2023 Château Puygueraud Blanc, a juicy, medium-bodied, vibrant white that offers the sun-kissed fruit of the vintage while staying clean, crisp, and more mineral focused. It's a terrific white that will shine on the dinner table and drink well for a year or two.

Green apples, white peach, orange rind, apricot, and pineapple nuances are at the core of this, bright, fresh, juicy, white Bordeaux. Lemon rind, white peach, and flowers on the nose get the wine going. The wine is sweet, juicy, creamy, and fresh on the palate, and in the finish. The wine blends 79% Sauvignon Blanc with 21% Sauvignon Gris.
