Tasting notes
Smoky red and black fruits, spicy oak, savory herbs, and cedar all emerge from the 2023 Château Lynch-Moussas, a medium-bodied, nicely balanced, elegant 2023 that has ripe, integrated tannins, moderate overall density, yet solid length on the finish. It's a solid effort in the vintage that's going to shine with just a few years of bottle age.

Tobacco leaf, licorice, espresso currants, cherries, and flowers. The medium-bodied palate is loaded with soft, fresh, ripe, round, black cherries, and juicy, currants. There is length, freshness, complexity, and loads of classic character here. The wine blends 78% Cabernet Sauvignon with 22% Merlot. 13.5% ABV.
This really takes off at the end. It’s medium-bodied with excellent tannins that run the length of the wine. Very solid. 78% cabernet sauvignon and 22% merlot.
The 2023 Lynch-Moussas is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of redcurrants, kirsch, and juicy raspberries pop from the glass, followed by hints of rose oil, wild sage, and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate delivers alluring tension and firm, fine-grained tannins to support the red berry and savory layers, finishing with a skip in its step. The blend is 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Merlot.
