FINE+RARE, Apr 2024

Very pure and precise, this offers notes of white flowers, citrus rind and honeysuckle. The palate shows good concentration and energy, with lots of waxy preserved lemon flavour and excellent texture. With good length, this is very good. Aged in 20% new oak. Blend: 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon

Ripe stone and tropical fruits, minty herbs, and white flower nuances all emerge from the 2023 Château Latour-Martillac Blanc, a clean, crisp, and expressive Pessac-Léognan Blanc. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a pure, layered mouthfeel, rock-solid balance, and a kiss of salty minerality on the finish. Drink bottles over the coming decade (or even longer if you're so inclined). Drink 2026-2040.

The 2023 Latour-Martillac Blanc is a tasty, straightforward offering. It possesses good energy and drive yet remains a bit angular in its contours. This needs a bit more presence in the mid-palate.

The 2023 Latour-Martillac Blanc has an attractive bouquet, with hints of white flower, the tincture, the malic fruit. Good intensity. The palate is fresh and vibrant. Ample weight with a dash of pepper, not persistent and yet it should still drink well for several years.
