Tasting notes
Lots of floral, cedary spice, and both red and black fruits emerge from the 2023 Château Citran, a medium-bodied Haut-Médoc offering juicy acidity, fine, nicely polished tannins, and a good finish. It's balanced, has a complex, satisfying profile, and at least a decade of longevity.

Medium-bodied, fresh, bright, red berries with floral accents come through easily in the medium-bodied, vibrant, crisp, chalky palate.
This is medium-bodied with firm and taut tannins, showing crunchy fruit as well as some crushed herbs. Racy acidity adds length and focus. It’s a bit chewy at the end, yet vivid and balanced.
The 2023 Citran is deep garnet-purple in color. It reveals faint scents of baked plums and dried cranberries, with touches of tobacco and dried herbs. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is soft and simple, with a subtle, savory finish.
