Tasting notes
Ripe black cherries, new leather, graphite, and hints of framboise all emerge from the 2023 Château Chauvin, a medium to full-bodied, mineral-laced beauty revealing fine tannins, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. It brings good ripeness yet has a solid underlying sense of structure and tannic grip.

Espresso, licorice, and black cherry notes open the wine. The medium-bodied palate is soft, fragrant, and fresh, delivering a lot of sweet, though, firm, red fruits with energy, as well as a chalky texture on the palate, and in the finish. You can either enjoy this just about on release, or wait a bit, for more complexity.
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Chauvin rocks up with eager-to-please notes of black cherries and juicy plums giving way to touches of licorice and garrigue. The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled and refreshing, with energetic black fruits and a floral burst on the finish.
A tight, focused and vivid red with a solid core of fruit and fine tannins. Attractive redcurrant and fresh berry character.
