here is a wealth of sweet, ripe, juicy, vibrant, chewy red fruits with a savory here, on the nose, and palate. Forward, fresh, and vibrant, this is going to be great on release for its lift, touch of chocolate, and red berries in the finish.

A blend of 53% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Petit Verdot, the 2023 Cambon La Pelouse is deep garnet-purple in color. It offers up notes of fruitcake, stewed plums, and raspberry preserves, with touches of spice box, wild fungi, and dried herbs. The medium-bodied palate is chewy and a touch thin, with a dried berry-laced finish.

The 2023 Cambon La Pelouse has a light and airy bouquet that feels a bit diffuse compared to its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with dry tannins—a rather "skinny" Haut-Médoc that needs more density and backbone on the finish. A second bottle shows a bit more grip and body.

The first Bordeaux estate to be bought by Treasury Wine Estates, now only produced in much smaller quanties as they used most of the vines in other wines. It's good quality, with cheerful and well balanced red fruits, fresh acidities, easy going. My suggestion is to look to the excellent Lanessan in this vintage, also in the same group.
