Tasting notes
The 2023 Château Bel Air comes from 100% Merlot that was brought up in 30% new barrels, with the balance in used oak and foudre. Ripe black cherries, leather, sappy flowers, and hints of chocolate all emerge from this complex, medium-bodied, satisfying Pomerol, which has an almost old school-like vibe and character. It's balanced and has ripe tannins and outstanding length.

Flowers, wet earth, and dark cherries form the core of this medium-bodied, forward, chewy Merlot wine that finishes with a touch of citrus on top of the cherries, with a nice hint of chocolate-mint in the backend. The wine is produced from 100% Merlot.
The 2023 Bel-Air, 100% Merlot, is deep garnet-purple in color. A little subdued to begin, it offers cedar and graphite notes to start, before revealing a core of baked plums and black cherries plus a touch of sassafras. The medium to full-bodied palate has a rugged backbone and muscular fruit, finishing earthy.
Fine and polished with juicy dark fruit and a hint of chocolate. Medium-bodied, polished and lightly chewy at the end.
