Good full saturated red. Complex, pure aromas of cherry, raspberry, minerals, licorice and game. Juicy, spicy and precise, with lovely framing acidity. Firmly built, gripping and long; sweet but not overly so.

Good medium ruby. Pure, vibrant aromas of blackberry, bitter chocolate and espresso. Densely packed but tight and unevolved. Rather powerful, muscular wine that will obviously require at least four or five years of aging. The tougher tannins cut off the fruit today. It's hard to imagine that this will soften much in tank prior to bottling.
