Another terrific rosé from this estate, the 2023 Cotes De Provence Porquerolles Rosé is a more mineral-driven, savory, almost salty effort that has beautiful darker framboise and strawberry notes as well as some spice, chalky nuances. I love its overall balance, it has medium-bodied richness, plenty of depth, and a clean, dry, salivating finish. It's beautifully done and just about heaven with tapas.

This estate, located on the Porquerolles island and owned by Chanel Group, produces delicate, perfumed rosé wines. The 2023 Cotes de Provence Rose Porquerolles evokes aromas of red berries, lime, flowers and crushed stones intertwined with maritime notes. Pure and precise, medium-bodied and perfectly balanced, it’s delineated with bright acids, a juicy core of fruit and a long, mineral and mouthwatering finish. It's a blend of Grenache, Vermentino, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Tibouren.
Full clear bottle 1,315 g. 100% Rolle (Vermentino). Certified organic and grown on the windswept island of Porquerolles off the coast of Provence. Made by the same team as Chx Rauzan Ségla and Canon. Worth visiting www.domainedelile.com for both the audio and video! Pale straw colour. Holiday wine! Fairly full-bodied fruit and a smoky nose but with a marine breeze blowing through it. Sappy and appetising. Though the rosé is racier. (JR)
