Score 89/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2008
Bright, pale yellow. Pungent aromas of lemon drop, clove and flowers, with a suggestion of exotic fruits. Supple and fresh, with pear and tropical fruit flavors complicated by spicy and herbal nuances. A wine of good but not outstanding depth, in a rather easygoing style. Ted Lemon told me he picked these grapes at a moderate 23.2o Brix before rot had a chance to become established.
