Pale garnet. Sweet, ripe nose and quite a bit of structure. More obvious tannin than most – heavier extraction? Should provide pleasure eventually but the wait may be quite long. (JR)

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village comes from the estate's own biodynamically-farmed vines. It has a bright and vivacious bouquet with more mineralité than the Sélection. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite chiselled and taut with a vibrant finish. This is very refined.
