Cask sample. Reticent nose. A precise Meursault which has fine acidity and a chiselled character on the palate. Tang of citrus and some stoniness to finish. Needs more time to blossom. (AWH)

The 2020 Meursault Les Chevalières has a reserved but focused nose, requiring some coaxing but delivering satisfying citrus peel and light lemon thyme aromas. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, taut and fresh with impressive weight and persistence on the finish, hints of lemon sherbet on the aftertaste. Excellent.
