Good full red. Distinctly cool and rather oaky nose is dominated by mocha and menthol. Supple and fine-grained in texture but quite dry, with a note of raspberry fruit emerging grudgingly with air to leaven the wine's medicinal menthol character. This needs more time in barrel to come into focus.
