2013 Nyetimber 1086

The 2013 Brut 1086, Nyetimber's prestige cuvée, is the third edition following the 2009 and 2010 vintages. This blend of 51% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 9% Pinot Meunier spent over 8 years on its lees. A touch of blossom honey and subtle smokiness appear on the nose. The palate is poised and slender, anchored in soil. Primary fruit is gone, but freshness remains, bedded in a smoothness of creamy autolysis.
