Score 94-96/100 · Drink 2020-2035, Neal Martin, Jan 2019
The 2017 Musigny Grand Cru consists of one new barrel from two tiny parcels, the top block whole clustered and the bottom block de-stemmed by hand. It has a bewitching bouquet of slightly gamy red fruit with hints of truffle and crushed stone. The medium-bodied palate shows fine tannins and a fine line of acidity, and seems quite saline at the moment. The finish fans out discreetly and the aftertaste is almost deceptively long. Excellent.
