2021 Terlaner Nova Domus

Pineapple, candied lemon, mint leaf, mandarin. Delivers weight and opulence, all cut through with stunning acidity. This is a physical white wine, with plenty of character. A great vintage, made with a backbone of Pinot Bianco that really show how this is an under-estimated grape. Released November 2023, from vineyards at 300-600m in altutude set in the Dolomite mountains of Alto Aldige. Whole cluster press, slow ferment in large oak barrels for 12 months, blending three months before bottling, with a partial malolactic on the Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay but not Sauvignon Blanc, held back at the estate for a further 24 months in bottle.
