Tasting notes
Moderately saturated medium red. Aromas and flavors of redcurrant and flowers complicated by an earthy note. Supple and spicy on the palate, offering good density and moderate nuance. This wine was more rustic in barrel a year ago but has turned out well.

Medium red. Musky, slightly rustic aromas of redcurrant and game. The rusticity carries through on the palate, which shows good texture and energy and a slightly medicinal character.
The 2012 Chambolle-Musigny is soft, racy and succulent from start to finish. Sweet red berries, plums, spices, mint and raspberries all flesh out in the glass. The style is racy, supple and perfumed throughout. The tannins are a bit firm, but another few years in bottle should do the trick. This is a gorgeous wine from Lignier.
