4-ha vineyard of 16-year-old vines on limestone. 16–18 months’ ageing in barrel (25% new). Tasted blind. Pale, bright greenish straw. Lemon-curd nose. Very bright and lightly smoky with real energy. Piercing acidity. Raciness incarnate. Very juicy and thirst-quenching. (JR)

So much more complex on the nose than the Bourgogne Côte d'Or. Floral, orange box. Enough density on the palate, mineral finish. (AWH)
