A wonderfully fresh, bright and layered nose reflects notes of cool red and black cherry, plum, violet, lavender, herbal tea, The delicious, vibrant and more refined middleweight flavors possess a lovely mouthfeel as well as focused power that suffuses the youthfully austere and compact finale. Like all competent examples of Latricières, this is going to require at least moderate patience. Drink 2034+

Millemann's 2022 Latricières is delicious and surprisingly approachable. The terroir is fairly cool, since the grapes are sourced from a plot influenced by the Combe Grisard, yet there is a lovely, fleshy character here with bright red and black fruits and notes of flowers and earth. The tannins are firm, but this comes only on the impressively long finish, prolonged by the delightful fresh, crisp acidity. This wine should open relatively soon, but given the density here, it will also reward five to 10 years of cellaring before enjoying.

Mid ruby purple. The bouquet shows some elegance, with a floral, rose petal aspect reflecting 70-75% whole bunch vinification. A very charming version of this style. Fresh raspberry and alpine strawberry on the palate with a significant overlay of white pepper. Beautifully nuanced and very fresh.
