Tasting notes
The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Lavières is fragrant and quite floral on the nose: brambly red fruit, hints of brown spice and sous-bois . Very impressive focus here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, taut and fresh, maybe just missing a bit of substance on the slightly green and peppery finish. This needs to meld together and gain more matière .

The proximity to Vosne is clear as the nose is overtly spicy with its array of various red berries and discreet wood and menthol influences. There is a bit more volume to the delicious and punchy if slightly less refined medium-bodied flavors that possess even better depth and persistence on the balanced finale. This is an excellent Nuits villages and worth your interest
