Monopole. Good grunt and sweetness with potential. Really pretty exciting wine, though not given away. Refined and with tannins but not too young. (JR)

Intense. Solid, sweet and quite polished. But not subtle. A little raw on the end. (JR)

The 2014 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Tamisot has a ripe red cherry and blueberry-scented bouquet that is a little simplistic, too eager to please perhaps. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe red cherry and strawberry fruit, just the right amount of salinity and a nicely poised finish that compensates for the straightforward nature of the nose. Enjoy this over the next 4-6 years, possibly longer.
