Tasting notes
The 2023 Meursault Narvaux has quite a powerful bouquet with finely delineated lemon balm and orange pith, as just a little alcohol becomes evident with aeration. The palate is well balanced, quite "fat" and slightly honeyed in texture. Spicier than the Les Forges, it is another Meursault that I feel will be best drunk sooner rather than later.

The 2022 Meursault Narvaux (Domaine Louis Jadot) has turned out beautifully, unfurling in the glass with a gently reductive bouquet of apple, pear, white flowers and peach. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and racy, with a tightly wound core, tangy acids and a saline finish, it's built to age.

Cask sample. Of the rich rather than austere school of Meursaults. Chewy and substantial. Big-boned. Delicate it ain’t. Pretty solid. (JR)
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
