Tasting notes
Moderately saturated bright medium red. Plum, redcurrant, underbrush, iron and a whiff of tobacco on the nose. Juicy, minerally and dry, in a distinctly uncompromising style. Comes across as lighter and less silky today than the Vosne wines at this address but boasts terrific energy. Lay this one down.

A very slight whole-bunch character adds a wonderful herbal and menthol scent. Really delicious, warm, full body and lengthy, concentrated core. Expressive and characterful. (RH)
Bright medium red. Redcurrant aroma shows an element of dried berries. Juicy and spicy in the mouth, with a mineral quality giving the wine good cut and definition; still, this is a bit dry and lean today. Finishes with good floral length and some musky underbrush tones but is there enough mid-palate depth to support the firm tannins?
