Score 93-94/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2010

Rich, complex nose combines leesy and sulfidey nuances, iodine minerality and deep soil tones. Fat, broad and rich yet almost magically weightless, with an enticing note of cherry-almond lifted on the back by more vibrant quinine and citrus peel. Wonderfully classy wine with superb length, and almost surprisingly easy to taste today, especially following the Chevalier-Montrachet.
