The 2022 Saint Joseph Les Granits is gorgeous as well, with plenty of blackberry, crushed stone, and peppery notes in a full-bodied, concentrated profile. Fermented with 10% stems and aged in just 20% new oak, it has the fresher, focused, slightly more linear style of the vintage (and of the estate today) and is going to benefit from bottle age.

The polished 2022 Saint-Joseph Les Granits wafts from the glass with crushed violets, sour cherry, pencil shavings and earthy undertones. Medium-bodied and refined, the 2022 is shaping up to be a classic rendition of this cuvée.
