The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Village wafts from the glass with notes of pear, crisp green apple and clear honey, complemented by hints of mandarin oil and orange blossom. Medium to full-bodied, textural and concentrated, it's deep and multidimensional, its richness and amplitude tempered and controlled by the bright spine of acidity that always characterizes this hillside site.

The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Pot Bois has a beautifully defined bouquet with supremely focused, mineral driven citrus fruit laced with orange blossom and lemon thyme. The palate is very well balanced with a perfect line of acidity. Crushed stone towards the finish, compact at the moment, but you can feel the terroir on the aftertaste that leaves the tongue tingling, just like after licking limestone. Try it (drinking this wine and/or licking limestone).
