2018 Riesling Grand Cru Brand

Tasted from a bottle that was opened eight days before, the 2018 Grand Cru Brand Riesling shows a deep, warm, rich and intense, lovely lemony bouquet with delicate granite and grapefruit aromas along with minty notes. Full-bodied, lush and round but also fine and elegant on the palate, this is a dense and powerful, very rich but also structured, even somewhat bitter-finishing Brand Riesling that offers a mouthful of fruit and roundness but remains pure and elegant on the finish. It is powerful, long and promising. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2022.
