Score 87-88/100 · Drink 2001-2006, Pierre Rovani, Feb 2001
Ambroise's 1999 Meursault was made entirely from grapes purchased from the Tillets vineyard. It offers perfumed mineral aromas and a fresh, tangy, white berry, mineral, and floral character. Light bodied, well-delineated, and possessing good grip, this satin-textured wine also reveals an excellent, long, supple finish. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. Importer: Robert Kacher Selections, Washington, DC; tel. (202) 832-9083.
