Tasting notes
The 2021 Anaperenna Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon is supple and concentrated, fresh and bright. The wine has more levity than the blend would suggest, and it closes with a cranberry, dried mint character. It's a lovely wine, from a lovely season.

Ripe blackberries and plums with subtle hints of cassis as well as walnuts, licorice and candied oranges. Full-bodied and rich yet mellow and silky on the palate with fine, evenly distributed tannins and not a jot heavy at all. A juicy, fruit-forward finish with hints of spices and cedar.
This 2021 blend of 80% Shiraz and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon is richly styled and bursting with youthful, sweet boysenberry and blueberry aromas topped with dark chocolate shavings and attractive oak in support. There is a good upfront density of flavor, still wound up quite tightly, and more savory and tarry in character with admirable underlying elegance and composure that will hold over the medium term.
