The 2020 Barbaresco is a powerful, deep wine. There's plenty of textural depth, but I don't see quite the energy or delineation of the best years. Sweet dark plum, spice, leather and tobacco open nicely in this mid-weight, relatively approachable young Barbaresco.

Neive. Mid-to-deep ruby with orange tinges. Balsamic nose that is still closed. Supple, plush sour-cherry fruit on the palate with tasty, chewy tannins. Long, elegant and delicious. (WS)
