Score 90-92/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, May 2019
The top wine of the estate, the 2018 La Fleur is slightly more concentrated, with a similar pure, elegant style. Notes of blackberries, tobacco, forest floor, and hints of graphite all emerge from this medium-bodied, elegant, beautifully balanced Lalande de Pomerol that has plenty to love. Based on 100% Merlot brought up in new foudre, drink it any time over the coming decade.

The 2018 Perron La Fleur shows good depth and persistence, but is ultimately marred by green aromas and flavors.
