Score 88/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2019
The two non-vintage wines both included the 1966 and the NV Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Bello 66/77, blended with the 1977, had some damp cardboard and corky notes yet boasted ample sweet fruit and texture on the palate. Some tobacco and earthy notes developed with time in the glass, and it has admirable depth of fruit, yet I still think the bottle was slightly suspect.
