Last Tasted 8/92 This continues to be a stunning example of what heights the 1987 vintage achieved in a handful of cellars. Outshining some of the more heralded vintages, the 1987 Richebourg reveals a dark ruby color, and a compelling fragrance of ripe black-raspberries, flowers, and spicy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, with excellent richness, soft tannins, and adequate acidity, this brilliantly delineated, beautifully made Richebourg should continue to drink well for another 7-8 years.
