So silky it slips instantly into every corner of the mouth, so silky it disarms you. None of the heaviness of many a ripasso. This is lithe, sinuous, just a little voluptuous, a belly-dancer of a wine. Sweet cinnamon spices folded into Turkish delight; dried cherries dusted with white pepper; cut-ruby-gem acidity flashing through the velvety fruit. Long, tobacco-leaf savoury finish. Superb ripasso.
