Tasting Notes
Domaine Paul Pernot has the largest holding of Premier Cru Folatières – with three parcels that produce arguably the most complete expression of the site. A standard-bearer for this Puligny-Montrachet-based estate, it’s another superb offering in 2022. The wine is fine and mineral, a pure, translucent expression of stony intensity that is elegant and long. Impressive.

A mix of their various plots throughout this large vineyard. Clear pure pale lemon and Iime. The bouquet is more perfumed to suggest additional ripeness. Very pure intense white fruit, with good acidity, and just a lick of honeysuckle. The whole is very well balanced and will be delicious.

Domaine Paul Pernot is synonymous with Puligny-Montrachet. For the last 30 years, the estate – alongside Domaine Leflaive and Domaine de Montille (previously Château de Puligny-Montrachet) – has been one of the largest shareholders in the appellation.
