Tasting Notes
Vibrant and long, Paul Pernot’s Bâtard-Montrachet is a massive wine in 20222. Intense and bold, there’s so much more to come here – with mineral and citrus intensity that provides tension, complementing the tightly wound core of ripe fruit. Needs time to unfurl and reveal the complexity that lies in wait.

The colour is a little livelier than the Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet. Altogether a classier bouquet, with the tension that perhaps the Bienvenues missed. More energy on the palate, again quite ripe fruit, and a fair length. Which once again builds after it seemed to have finished.
