Tasting notes
Definitely one of the highlights of the tasting, Duband's Nuits St Georges is always a favourite of ours in the range, David always manages to retain a beautiful freshness in this cuvee. On the nose, crushed fresh raspberries and floral notes with a great minerality coming up. The tannins are powerful yet refined and delicate, oak is well integrated, it feels as already approachable. The finish is long and persistent with flamboyant red fruits and a pleasant mouth coating feeling! One that should be approachable earlier than the Gevrey village but able to age beautifully for 5 to 10years.

Here too a deft application of wood is present on the spicy and earthy essence of ripe red currant along with a suggestion of the sauvage. There is fine volume to the succulent yet sleek medium weight flavors that also possess a caressing mouthfeel, all wrapped in dusty, punchy and lightly austere but not rustic finale. Excellent.
Fresh purple, a little less evidently whole bunch, a solid raspberry and strawberry fruit, perhaps more at the front than the back. Medium to low acidity, refined tannins, fair length.
