Score 87/100 · Drink 1994-2006, Robert Parker, Jan 1997
While the 1989 La Landonne is, not surprisingly, exhibiting more tannin, it is still flattering to taste, with a pronounced earthy, licorice and berry-scented bouquet, oak-tinged, medium-bodied, attractive flavors, and moderate tannins in an attractive finish. It should age gracefully for at least 10-12 years. Last tasted 6/94.
