Score 90/100 · Drink 2017-2030, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2015

The debut 2013 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru les Fuées comes from two parcels, one next to Bonnes-Mares and the other next to Les Cras, 20 and 50 years old respectively. Matured in 50% new oak, it has a very pure and focused bouquet that offers black cherries, boysenberry jam and orange blossom that gain intensity in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy ripe red berry fruit laced with dates and fig that lend this wine an exoticism that differentiates it from the Feusselots. Long in the mouth, this should give please over the next 15-20 years.
