Good pale yellow-straw color. Exotic pear, apricot, honey and marzipan on the nose. Fat, sweet and a tad warm, with an exotic character to the flavors of pear, dried stone fruits and spices. No shortage of concentration here but could use a bit more definition and cut.

(this and the subsequent wines have all finished their primary and secondary fermentations, and had been lightly sulfited three weeks prior to my visit) Superripe, almost oily aromas of stone fruits and honey. Fat, sweet and rich, with lovely depth to the fruit flavors. Finishes with distinctly exotic suggestions of pineapple and passion fruit. The yield here was just 35 hectoliters per hectare.
